Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874–1936) was an English writer, philosopher, and Christian apologist (the religious discipline of defending religious doctrines through systematic argumentation and discourse) who is often referred to as the “prince of paradox.” He also wrote 53 stories featuring the fictional priest-detective Father Brown, which have been turned into radio dramas, films, TV series, and even manga comics.
