Giving the commencement address at the Virginia Military Institute (May 16, 2018), Tillerson warned that democracy in America is threatened by a “growing crisis in ethics and integrity.”
“If we do not as Americans confront the crisis of ethics and integrity in our society and among our leaders in both the public and private sector — and regrettably at times even the nonprofit sector — then American democracy as we know it is entering its twilight years.”
Mr. Tillerson is correct.

Comments? Sorry: Facebook retired their commenting system (they didn’t even bother to alert me). Just as well, I suppose, but sadly there is no way to recover the many hundreds of comments made on this site. Lesson learned: never rely on someone else’s site for prime functions, especially “social media”!
