Demand Better

“Predicting the future is much too easy. You look at the people around you, the street you stand on, the visible air you breathe, and predict more of the same. To hell with more. I want better.”
—Ray Bradbury, 1979

Ray Bradbury (1920–2012) was an American author and screenwriter. He worked in a variety of genres, including fantasy, science fiction, horror, and mystery fiction, best known for Fahrenheit 451 (1953), The Martian Chronicles (1950), and The Illustrated Man (1951). The New York Times said Bradbury was “the writer most responsible for bringing modern science fiction into the literary mainstream.”
