Turing is widely considered to be the father of theoretical computer science and artificial intelligence.

But he never said the line: it was a bit of dialogue of the character playing his childhood friend Christopher Morcom in the film version of Turing’s life, particularly centered around his World War II codebreaking efforts, The Imitation Game*. Yet every reference I found attributes it to Turing.
